FINAL STAMP DESIGNS

I picked from my thumbnails my favourite images and drew them out individualy and scanned them into the computer and edited them on photoshop. I was happy with the final stamps and I think that they are quirky, fun and bright. They are also kind of simple and childish, which I like!

BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD

I liked an idea that I had done in my earlier thumbnails of a goldfish bowl that illustrated a polluted goldfish bowl. I decided to explore this more and did a few pages of thumbnails to come up with a few more ideas..

FIRST TWO IDEAS FOR STAMPS

I had the idea to put something unexpected and odd amongst forms of marine life and to do a series of these kind of images. In this image i put a shopping bag floating with some jellyfish in the water..
The second idea was to do a silhouette of a ship dumping wastes in to the earth.. However the main problem with these two stamps was that when I shrunk them down you couldn't make out what was going on because the stamp was too small to see important details..

THUMBNAIL SKETCHES..

Alot of the ideas that I came up with were generally to do with the marine pollution and I chose a theme of habitat destruction because I thought this was a broad subject and I could do alot with it..

ENVIRONMENTAL STAMP PROJECT..

I started my project with a mind map and just put some ideas in my head on paper..
